Job Description

Junior Occupational Therapist Competitive Hourly Rate – Band 5 EquivalentGardens and JacobsWe have an exciting opportunity for a committed and motivated occupational therapist to join our therapy team where we provide specialist services for people with neurological disabilities and terminal illness. We are a large neurological care centre called Gardens and Jacobs based with The Rivers Hospital site in Sawbridgeworth.You will be responsible for delivering a high standard of therapy and always meeting the needs of our residents. You will assess and analyse individuals and determine their need for occupational therapy intervention to maximise functional independence and rehabilitation potential.Our team is currently on an exciting journey of growth and you can be part of this!What we can offer you:

  • Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Registered with The Health professions Council
  • Member of College of Occupational Therapists
  • Able to demonstrate experience and knowledge of assessing and treating people with a complex condition
  • Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal), with residents, visitors and the wider multi-disciplinary team.
