Job Description

Warehouse Operative

  • Annual Salary: £26,000 + adiscretionary bonus,paid annually
  • Location: Seaham
  • Job Type: Full-time (08:00 - 17:00 /Monday - Friday)
We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our fantastic clients dynamic team in Seaham. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a competitive salary and the chance to advance your career in a thriving business environment. Day-to-day of the role:
  • Efficiently handle warehouse duties including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving goods.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure the warehouse is organised and clean.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely, following all health and safety guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to meet daily productivity targets.
  • Assist in stock control and management activities.
  • Participate in regular stock audits and report any discrepancies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A valid Forklift Truck Licence.
  • Prior experience in a warehouse operative role.
  • Familiarity with warehouse practices and handling equipment.
  • Good physical condition and stamina to handle the physical demands of the job.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.
