Job Description

Sewell Wallis are partnering with a leading business in Selby who are looking to recruit a Financial Accountant into their UK Head Office team.This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Accountant to join an organisation who are going through a significant growth period who offer ongoing progression opportunities.What will you be doing

Producing group statutory accounts.
Supporting the preparation of the monthly board pack.
Reviewing the balance sheet.
Assisting with group consolidations.
Financial modelling.
Working closely with the external auditors.
Budgeting and forecasting.
Supporting the business M&A growth plans.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies and accounting standards.

What skills are we looking for

Qualified Accountant / newly qualified, ideally ACCA / ACA / CIMA.
Strong financial reporting skills.
Ability to work with senior stakeholders across the group.
Knowledge of IFRS.
Excellent attention to detail.
