Our client is an exciting start-up business, that sits within the investment sector, currently managing a portfolio of fast-growing companies.Due to this growth, they are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their business on a part-time, permanent basis. This role will be worked over 2 days a week (which can be flexible) amounting to 16 hours. Initially based from home untiloffices in Sevenoaks are complete (end of 2024).Responsibilities will include:Look after and manage bank accounts for the groups businessesRun and manage payrollPrepare VAT & Corporation returnsPrepare and process group payment runsHandle purchase/sales invoices from external clientsPrepare year-end accounts for auditingWork alongside external accountants to make sure all liability is met for the groupLiaise with HMRC for all businessesImplement and manage a new finance system to streamline the group financial dataIssue weekly cash position reportsThe ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate previous accounts experience in a similar role and have the ability to work autonomously from a home office environment.At KHR we take care to ensure that you are represented as well as possible so it is worth checking your CV for layout, spelling and grammar as well as making sure it is up to date before you submit.
