Job Description

My fantastic client who are a growing business based in Sharpness, are currently recruiting for an Accounts Administrator to join their team on a 1-year fixed term contact. This role could go permanent for the right candidate!The successful candidate will work as part of the finance team covering a variety of Sales and Purchase Ledger duties as well as administrative.Responsibilities/Duties;-Checking customer credit limits and credit insurance-Raising sales invoices using Quick Books Pro.-Dealing with sales invoice queries.-Checking purchase invoices against purchase order.-Inputting purchase invoices into Quick Books Pro.-Chase and process invoices for Direct Debit payments.-Reconciliation of supplier statements.-Issuing remittance advices to suppliers.-Dealing with penalty notices, parking fines etc.-Renewing road fund license (tax) for company vehicles.-Dealing with incoming and outgoing correspondence within the accounts department-Answering incoming phone calls and dealing with customer queriesCandidate Attributes;-Previous administration experience-Competent IT skills, particularly Excel.-Must enjoy figurework.-Good communicator both written and verbal-Ability to maintain confidentiality-Good attention to detail and administrative skills.Hours- Monday to Friday 9am-5pmSalary- Up to £22,000 DOE Required skills
