Job Description

Maintenance Operative - Contract

  • 1 month contract - split over two sites in Sheffield.
  • Inside of IR35, £12p/h
  • Short term role to cover sickness - potential to be extended at the end of the contract depending on need. Perfect opportunity for someone who is immediately available and needs something short-term while they look for / wait to start apermanent role.
  • Must be able to drive and own your own vehicle.
About the client:Our client are a leading Software house working in the Internet and Telecommunications sector. Due to a sudden urgent need, they require a Maintenance Operative to join them as soon as possible to assist with their current office refurb. The client have two sites in Sheffield, HQ and their Data Centre so the role duties may be required in either sites or both. Being able to travelbetween these is essential.The Maintenance Operative Role:You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, such as general repairs and maintenance, moving heavy objects, minor electrical works (day to day tasks), communicating with on-site contractors, and ensuring safety regulations are followed on both of the clientssites.Maintenance Operative - Essential Skills:
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Basic IT skills and systems
  • Ability to drive and own a vehicle
  • Be immediately available
  • Live in the Sheffield area or commutable distance
  • UK citizen
  • Good skills at being hands on with repairs and minor electrical work/decorating.
