Contract: Permanent, full time Location: Sidcup Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum Hours: 37.5 hours per week on a shift pattern covering Monday - Sunday between the hours of 8am and 8pm. Job Summary: We are excited to be able to present a unique opportunityto join a socially conscious company as the Assistant Chef. We are looking for an enthusiastic, warm and friendly person to join our team working at Queensgate Luxury Apartments. Working alongside the head chef you will play a crucial role in the success ofthe restaurant by ensuring the delivery of high-quality food. A passion for delivering exceptional food quality is a must. Responsibilities will include: Ability to work on your own completing all duties within the kitchen including prep, cooking, service,cleaning and heath and safety. An appetite to improve and learn new skills. Assisting the head chef during service Food preparation, cooking and presentation to a high standard Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene levels in the kitchen. Working to maintainsafety at all times, especially when using kitchen equipment. Any other duties as defined by the Head Chef Qualifications & skills: Minimum of one year fresh cooking experience. Passionate about food with a keen eye for presentation. Prepare and produce fromscratch using fresh ingredients. Be able to multitask, prioritise and thrive in a busy environment. Ability to work well as part of a team displaying good communication skills. A self-starter who is happy to work independently within their role A team playerwho is happy to be aligned with our philosophy of saying yes DBS check will be required.
