Job Description

Agile Project ManagerSloughA truly exciting opportunity has opened up in Slough for an experienced agile project manager to join a rapidly growing team in Slough. We are looking for a high calibre individual who has significant experience in leading and managing the delivery of high agile software application projects.We are a highly agile digital consultancy that specialise in the design and build of bespoke web applications and services that are used by customers in the telco industry every single day. We are a Sunday Times top 10 employer and feature consistently in annual awards for both our services and for our employee benefits!The successful agile project manager can expect to have the following responsibilities in their role:

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of large scale, user centric software delivery project in the telco industry
  • Agree the programme costs, scope, timing and requirements with customers
  • Build and manage high performing multi-disciplinary teams (UX, engineers, product owners etc.)
  • Manageand own significant commercial budgets across the projects
  • Implement agile delivery methodologies across delivery with understanding of scrum, safe and hybrid methods
    • Working with several clients across the public sector & central government we are highly specialised in the design and delivery bespoke customer centric web applications that genuinely make the lives of our customers easier and solve their problems. With approximately 1,000 consultants globally we are proud of our capabilities to deliver user centric web applications that positively impact the lives of millions of people.The ideal agile project manager will have exceptional communication skills, a proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation and manager multiple projects concurrently. You will not only manage & nurture important customer relationships but also have a proven record in owning and managing budgets across the whole software delivery lifecycle. You will be joining an elite team of industry experts who are passionate about using technology for making a positive difference to peoples lives.The successful agile project manager will be expected to have the following requirementsRequirements
  • Demonstrable success managing and delivering software/web application-based projects using agile methodology.
  • Broad technology experience, awareness of current technology trends and a solid understanding of software engineering practices and behaviours.
  • Lead the end to end delivery in a large scale software development/ web applications projetcs.
  • Agile enthusiast through and through.
  • Management of large teams consisting of Scrum Masters, Developers, Test Engineers etc.
  • Budgeting, forecasting and pre-sales experience.
