Job Description

Alexander Daniels are recruiting for a Credit Controller to join a busy team on a 12 month FTC. You are will need to be pro active, highly organised, analytical and able to work under time constraints. Experience in credit control is essential.

  • Manage credit problems of both a short-term and long-term nature.
  • Control bad debts by ensuring that the company does not take undue financial risks or non-commercial decisions, ensuring that potential debts are addressed quickly, by applying the Company values and appropriate actions taken to recover.
  • Maintain supplies to within agreed and documented procedures
  • Regularly review accounts on refer, credit limits and allocate cash
  • Promote the use of the direct debit method of payment and processing of other payment methods. eg. debit cards
  • Ensure Navision records are accurate and up to date
  • Liaise with Loss Prevention Managers regarding charges levied for buying out of EiPP supply chain
  • Review of direct debit previews to compile accurate direct debit collection amounts and amend when necessary
  • Manage the volume of both incoming and outgoing calls
  • Consistent delivery of goals and objectives as set by the credit manager
