Job Description

Field Service Engineer (West Midlands and surrounding areas)Locations: West Midlands M1 Corridor including Leicester, Northampton, Luton and CambridgeSalary: Basic salary start rate up to £45,500.00 DOEPermanentFull timeA full UK driving licence is essential for this roleCOME AND JOIN OUR WHALE FAMILY!Whale is symbolic of outstanding quality, value and reliability and this is what we look for in our Field Service Engineers.As a result of successful growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for 3 additional Field Services Engineers to be based around the West Midlands area to come and join our respected industry-wide company.Not only will you be joining an expanding, enthusiastic and proactive company where no two days are the same, we also have some wonderful benefits on offer including:

Sound tempting Want to learn more about the role Please Read on......The successful candidates will be providing our customers with a high level of service covering a range of activities which include:
  • Maintenance and repair of vehicles either onsite or on location
  • Identifying and securing opportunities for additional work
  • Ensuring all tools and equipment are calibrated and van stock up to date
  • Building and maintaining customer relations
  • Adhering and working to Health and Safety regulations
We are looking for skilled engineers who have direct tanker experience, or transferable skills from other sectors, including:
  • Vehicle Electrics
  • Pneumatics
  • Hydraulics
  • General mechanical maintenance
  • Fault finding skills
  • Excellent paperwork
  • Great communication
