Job Description

If you possess a strong background in finance, excellent leadership skills, and a knack for ensuring compliance,we want to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesThe key responsibilities for this Internal Controls Manager position include:

Develop and implement robust internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Lead the SOX compliance program, including scoping, testing, and remediation efforts.
Conduct risk assessments and identify control gaps, recommending and implementing effective solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency while maintaining a strong control environment.
Provide training and guidance to stakeholders on internal control best practices and compliance requirements.
Oversee internal audits and liaise with external auditors to facilitate audits and address any findings.

Key RequirementsThe key requirements for this Internal Controls Manager role are:

ACA, ICAS, or ACCA qualification is essential.
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a multinational environment.
Strong understanding of SOX compliance requirements and experience managing SOX programs.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems.
Studied accountancy, business or economics at university.
