Job Description

Do you thrive in a supportive environment and have a keen eye for detailWere seeking a talented and experienced Legal Assistant to join our growing Private Client team in Solihull. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a dynamic department, supporting our solicitors and ensuring exceptional client care. Privateclient lawyers act for private individuals on legal matters such as wealth management, wills, trusts and probate.What youll do:

  • Be the right-hand support to our Private Client solicitors, keeping their workload running smoothly.
  • Utilize our case management system to draft accurate and professional correspondence.
  • Build rapport with clients, providing excellent service over the phone and in person.
  • Take ownership of our filing systems, ensuring efficient organization and retrieval of client documents.
  • Maintain strict procedures for handling confidential client deeds and documentation.
  • Share your knowledge and expertise, assisting colleagues and fostering a collaborative team spirit.
  • Embrace opportunities for training and development, taking ownership of your professional growth.
Youll be a great fit if you have:
  • Proven experience working within a Private Client department
  • Initiative and the ability to work independently on research, ID checks, and file management tasks.
  • Impeccable accuracy and a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent communication skills with a confident phone manner.
  • A meticulous and adaptable approach to work.
  • Experience with audio typing (a plus, but not essential).
  • Familiarity with legal documents and terminology (training provided).
  • A strong understanding of confidentiality and data protection principles.
