Senior Engineering Geologist / Assistant Project ManagerIndustry - Rail Location - Home basedSalary - £35,000 - £50,000 (negotiable) Permanent roleA Senior Engineering Geologist is required to join a vibrant and charismatic team, with the companys Head Quarters based in the Midlands. The role is to support the Principal Engineer as part of the technical team in the delivery of asset examination approvalsand the delivery of planned and reactive bespoke Geotechnical projects. You will prepare tender programmes and update them during delivery of works, attend client meetings, brief personnel on project requirements, undertake checking of site outputs and factualreports, while maintaining daily and weekly contact with the Principal Engineer.The Senior Engineering Geologist will be educated to a degree level in Geology, Engineering Geology or Civil Engineering and have 3-5 years of post-graduate experience of managing site / ground investigations on site. You will also have prior experienceof preparing Risk Assessment, Method Statements and contract programmes. The successful candidate will have good attention to detail, will be pro-active, and confident in meetings and talking to contractors and suppliers. Ideally, you will have previous experiencein the Rail environment and be based in the Southeast of England. However, candidates living in other locations will also be considered as the role is primary based from home, with occasional site visits.The Client is a nationwide leading Asset Management company specialising in inspections and surveys, offering asset inspections, ground investigation and enabling works across a broad range of industries.
