Job Description

NonStop care are working with a Good Ofsted Island Authority based in the South East that are seeking dedicated social workers to join their Assessment Team.As a social worker in this authority, you will be able to work in a beautiful island authority and be part of a close-knit community. This allows you to make a positive difference in the lives of children and families while taking in the stunning scenery of the islandThe Good Ofsted rating is indicative of a well-managed and supportive work environment. Your Responsibilities:
  • To conduct S17 assessments for families assigned to the authority, focusing on children and their well-being.
  • To adhere to the local authoritys protocols and legal requirements when providing support for children and/or families and caregivers.
  • To deliver a proficient and successful service to children, adolescents, and their families, guaranteeing that the requirements of both the children and their parents or caregivers are expertly evaluated, and appropriate interventions are promptly administered
Requirements:
  • Hold a professional Social Work qualification and registration (SWE)
  • Have the ability to assess and manage risk, with a focus on service-users safety and well-being
  • Post-qualified experience across assessment and/or child protection
  • Clear, Enhanced DBS
  • Must drive and have access to own vehicle
