Job Description

Finance Analyst - Supply Chain, FMCG, Putney (2 days p/w), £65k + bonusWe are working exclusively with a successful FMCG business with a plethora of household named brands and are on a growth trajectory. They are looking for a Supply Chain Finance Analyst to join their successful team.You will be responsible for all Warehousing, Distribution and Supply Accounting; ensuring the accurate and complete set up of the Balance Sheet accounts; and providing finance support for their production centres.This is a highly visible position and will require business partnering with non-finance senior leadership team. They are looking for a talented, ambitious individual to help drive meaningful impact across the business.Key Responsibilities:Production Accounting;

  • Ensure that all account reconciliations within the Production Accounts are performed each month including in the Balance Sheets
  • Monthly Purchase price variance of components and pure third-party products, as well as quarterly forecast activities with the procurement team.
Overheads:
  • Budget and forecast of Supply Chain overheads. Lead meetings with the different stakeholders in the supply chain.
  • Monthly prepayments and accruals postings, including open POs and parked invoices. Prepare monthly overheads reports to share with the relevant teams.
Working Capital:
  • Manage Stock Write Off process. Includes acquiring authorisation and notifying warehouse of the disposal required.
  • Monitor Stock Obsolescence. Includes preparing and maintaining the Stock Obsolescence Report and liaise with the different teams to ensure any Write offs are actioned.
Costs:
  • Monthly distribution journals and analysis of actuals (Shipping cost, interplant, airfreight cost, pallets, etc).
  • Forecasting and budgeting of the distribution spend.
Essentials:
  • Qualified CIMA/ACCA
  • Experience within a production/distribution environment
  • Confident and driven personality
