Job Description

Head of HRLondon (SW18)£70,000 - £75,000Our client, an SME in the PR/tech sector is looking to recruit an experienced Head of HR/Senior HR Manager for a newly created role based in London (SW18). As the company is expanding and undergoing a period of transition, the HR professional will play a crucialrole in collaborating closely with the CEO to support the organisation through this growth phase. You will need to be a self starter with the ability to inspire and lead. The company has a diverse workforce and international offices and so offers a dynamicand multicultural work environment. The role is 4 days in the office and 1 day WFH.Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
Person Specification
  • 10 years HR experience within a generalist role
  • Ideally stand alone and SME experience is a distinct advantage
  • Ability to influence and work closely with the CEO to make a difference
  • Experience in facilitating culture change and restructuring
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of UK employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience of working within a diverse/multicultural environment
