Job Description

Our client is an established and growing business based in St Neots. They are currently looking for someone to join their small and busy finance team in an Assistant Accountant position.This position will be varied and will suit someone who is looking for the next step in their finance career.

Processing purchase invoices, allocating to suppliers, gaining authorisation and matching to POs
Expenses reconciliations
Assisting with month end closure, producing reports and reconciliations
Income and cashflow statement reporting
Balance sheet and bank reconciliations
Assisting with audit, producing appropriate documentation as required
Variance and trend analysis
Ad hoc reporting

The ideal candidate will have at least two years experience in a finance role and ideally experience working in an SME environment.An active AAT studier or a finance graduate with exemptions from CIMA / ACCA, strong Excel skills are essential as is an inquisitive nature and strong communication skills.This role will be site-based in St Neots and there will be excellent scope for growth and development as the company continues to grow.Interviews will be taking place imminently, so send your CV for immediate consideration.Required skills
