Job Description

Join one of our "Good" Ofsted-rated schools as a SEND Teaching Assistant, dedicated to children and young people with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) as well as ASC and SLD. They aim to provide a nurturing environment where every studentreceives personalized support to achieve their potential.The RoleAs an LSA, youll:

  • Support Learning: Assist in delivering tailored educational and therapeutic activities.
  • Enhance Engagement: Use specialized strategies to engage students with PMLD.
  • Provide Care: Offer personal care, including feeding and mobility assistance.
  • Promote Communication: Support the development of communication and interaction skills.
  • Collaborate: Work with teachers, therapists, and families to meet individual needs.
About YouWere looking for someone who:
  • Is Compassionate: Passionate about supporting children with PMLD and other needs.
  • Has Experience: Experience with PMLD is ideal but not essential; a commitment to learning is.
  • Is Patient and Empathetic: Strong care-giving abilities and communication skills.
  • Works Well in a Team: Effective collaborator and adaptable.
