Do you have previous experience as a Legal CashierAre you a hardworking Finance Assistant who is ready for your next challenge Perhaps you have been contemplating a career in the Legal sector. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-respected legal firm that has been operating for over 40 years.You will report to the Finance Manager and be responsible for all accounts duties. Supporting the busy finance office with the accurate processing of both office and client accounts, maintaining the purchase ledger, reporting cash flow and supporting month-endprocesses.Ensuring compliance at all times with SRA accounts rules and maintaining confidentiality regarding the firm and its clients is key.The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and experience of SRA account rules, however if youre from a finance background and willing to learn then youll want to keep reading.Youll have the confidence to use your initiative, recognise issues and communicate them effectively with the Finance Manager.Attention to detail and accuracy are second nature to you and youll demonstrate an enthusiastic approach to work.Think quality over quantity, you wont be processing a high volume of transactions, but they are very high value, so youll add to your experience and skill set.The finance team is the go-to for every department within the firm, so you will be an integral part of the team to assist with queries and advice, providing professional support.There are a lot of learning opportunities and youll receive support from team members with a wealth of experience.You will benefit from a shorter-than-average 35-hour week and have some flexibility on start and finish times.Youll be offered a study support package, whether thats continuing with your AAT studies, or perhaps you would like to study for an ILFM Diploma.Youll be based in their Sunderland office, located in the city centre close to main transport routes.Click apply now or contact Natalie at Paul Card Recruitment for a confidential chat to find out more.And dont worry if your CV isnt quite up to date, we can help with that too.All applications will receive a response.Required skills
