Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Management Accountant to join an established finance team in a successful and growing company. This role is responsible for accounting tasks and financial management, as well as providing accurate financial information tosupport decision-making processes.Client DetailsOur client is a well-established Swansea-based company in the hospitality and leisure industry. The company prides itself on delivering top-notch services to its vast clientele.DescriptionThe Role:

Preparing and analysing monthly and weekly management accounts and financial statements
Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities
Identify trends and areas for improvement
Performing financial analysis and reporting to management
Ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements
Implementing internal controls and procedures
Liaising with external auditors
Managing and mentoring junior team members
Attending meetings and presenting to Senior Management
Participating in special projects as required

ProfileThe Ideal Candidate:

A relevant professional accounting qualification and/or working towards qualified status
Proven prior success in a similar role
Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards
Proficiency in accounting software, such as SAGE
Excellent numerical and analytical skills
Exceptional communication and leadership skills
