Human Resources Business Partner - Taunton - £40-50,000Well Placed HR are delighted to have been exclusively engaged by a new client, a fast expanding specialist services business based in Taunton. The company currently seeks to recruit an HR Business Partner to join them on a full time, permanent contract tobe based on site at their headquarters in Taunton (with parking), commencing asap.Working closely alongside the board of directors and senior management team, this will be a pivotal role for our client and one where the successful candidate will essentially assume overall responsibility for the people management and HR function. Key responsibilitiesto include:- Assume line management responsibility for a small but growing HRM team- Play a lead role in developing, implementing and improving processes creating robust people management initiatives to support a growing head count- Lead on employee relations, working closely between the senior management team and wider employees- Deliver high quality HR metrics with commentary to the senior management team- Develop initiatives that promote a happy and loyal team with professional mentoring and CPD to ensure the business is considered an employer of choice- Manage and oversee the company’s ongoing recruitment and talent attraction initiatives- Develop and future proof digital HR systems- Ensure compliance with UK employment law and statutory reporting requirements- Develop and improve high quality appraisal and rewards policies- Monitor a high quality pay and rewards schemeWe’re looking for an experienced candidate, either qualified by experience or CIPD level 5 qualified (or higher), with at least 2-3 years’ experience working at manager level, ideally within a fast paced services environment. This is a pivotal, senior levelappointment where the successful candidate will require significant experience in designing and implementing efficient HR policies & procedures, contracts of employment, and possess an up to date knowledge of UK employment law.The role works with a friendly, supportive and passionate management team, and offers an excellent remuneration package and competitive benefits.
