Job Description

Location: West YorkshireStart Date: September 2024Salary: M1 - UPS3 (depending on experience)Job role: Girls PE TeacherThe role:I am currently looking to recruit a number of Girls PE Teaches on behalf of my partner secondary schools based across West Yorkshire in areas such as Wakefield, Leeds, Kirklees and Bradford. These are full-time positions starting in the new academic year coveringall lessons across KS3/KS4 making sure pupils are always learning.Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality PE lessons tailored to the needs of girls at KS3 and KS4.
  • Inspire and motivate students to develop a love for physical activity and a healthy lifestyle.
  • Organise and oversee extracurricular sports activities and clubs.
  • Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide feedback to parents and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with other members of the PE department to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
  • Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Physical Education or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching PE to secondary school students, preferably in an all-girls setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to promoting equality and diversity within the school community.
  • A passion for teaching and the ability to inspire young people.
