We don’t run care homes, so there’s no need to provide personal care. The priority in your role includes the safety and wellbeing of everyone in our accommodation, includingour customers.Working with people who have a range of needs, you could be doing any number of things. From supporting customers in conversations with calls from their GP, Social Services, or Benefits teams – to dealing with the emergency services including the Police andAmbulance, when the need arises.You’ll log all incidents to make sure we have an accurate record of events. And when a customer leaves, you will clean and prepare their room, ready for the next occupant.Springhill Close is a complex needs service providing temporary accommodation to 8 single people, aged 18+ who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Many of our customers lead chaotic lifestyles, often they have a background of offending, additction and/ormental health. Our customers can quite oftend be dis-engaged in accepting support and you will need to think outside the box, adapt and work flaxibly to help them succeed. Though some days your resilience will be required, working with customers at Springhillclose is incredibly rewarding and your input can truely make a difference here.Springhill Close operates under a mixture of lone working and double cover shifts. You will need exceptional planning and organisation skills, and an ability work well under pressure. You will plan and deliver a range of personalised housing related supportto customers, working with individuals and empowering them to achieve their goals and aspirations. You will heavily contribute to the day-to-day running of the scheme undertaking a range of administrative tasks and customer service responsibilities. Including:

  • Reception duties and being first first point of contact for customers and visitors.
  • Cleaning of the office/scheme & preparing any vacant flats ready for re-let.
  • Ensuring Health & Safety checks are completed in flats and communal areas of the scheme.
  • Completing housing assessments with prospective customers.
  • New customer sign ups.
  • Reporting repairs.
  • Ordering furniture stock for flats and general office supplies.
  • Managing crisis situations.

The role at Springhill Close is 37.5 hours per week working to a rolling rota. You will work a combination of early and late shifts with alternate weekends.
  • Early Shift 7.30am – 3.30pm
  • Late Shift 2.30pm – 10.30pm
