Job Description

Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Testing and Inspection Electrician based within Wakefield, WF2Our client is looking for a Testing and Inspection Electrician to undertake ECIR, Motor testing, Emergency ligting, Illumination Levels, RCD/RCBO, Static Discharge Leads, Supplementary Bonding to work alongside site team.Available shifts / Locations below:

  • Monday until Friday (5 days a week)- This is a full-time position
  • Postcode: WF2 0XR
  • 07:00-15:30PM
  • £19:40 including holiday pay, however you have the option to accrue.
  • Paid Weekly, Every Friday before 5 PM.
  • This position is PAYE
Skills and Qualifications required:
  • Must have at least 2 years previous Electrical experience
  • 18th Edition
  • Testing and Inspection Certificate
  • Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
  • Able to manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work both alone and in a team.
  • Awareness of health and safety procedures
  • Electrical Installation - Approved apprenticeship with either:
  • City & Guild 236 Part 1, 2 & 3 Parts A, B, C or
  • City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1, 2, 3 or
  • City & Guilds 2330 Level 2, Level 3, (Level 4 - desirable) or
  • City & Guilds 2560 2357 - Diploma
Must have experience in the following:
  • Interpret and work from all instructions, drawings and specifications appropriate to his/her own trade
  • Set up New Work appropriate to his/her own trade using relevant tools, equipment and machinery,
  • After appropriate training, work off tower scaffolding, MEWP’s, ladders, and step ladders and within confined spaces
  • To carry out unsupervised maintenance and repairs and report any defects or unusual circumstances to the Supervisor
  • Ensure all PPM and Reactive work is carried out effectively in compliance with maintenance instructions and response and repair times.
  • To record information as required for the operation of Maximo or similar system.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in engineering installation, plant and equipment. To deal with new situations as they arise and pass on knowledge to others
