Belcan have joined forces with a leading engineering and maintenance provider who are looking to add to their workforce with an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Project Manager to join their Warrington site on a full time, permanent basis.The RoleYou will have the opportunity to work on some of the most stimulating and ground breaking design and EPC projects in the UK and Europe.ResponsibilitiesTogether with your team of Lead Engineers, Engineers, and Designers, you are responsible for the delivery of single and multi-discipline engineering, EPCM or EPC projects.These projects will range across the full life cycle from concept to commissioning, in both green and brownfield applications. Projects will vary in complexity and size, delivered for all the major sectors (Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Energy, Utilities, Chemicals,Petrochemicals and Food).You will be expected to manage and complete the projects within budget and planning. This includes change control, profit, and loss.Projects can be stand-alone engineering projects, where you will be the focal point in front of the client, or your project can also be the engineering scope of a EPCM / EPC project.Required ExperienceTo be successful in this position you will need extensive experience as an Engineering/Project Manager, in multi-discipline projects, in an Engineering / EPCM / EPC company.You will have experience setting up an Engineering project schedule and project reporting system alongside experience implementing an engineering project management plan / design management plan.You will be knowledgeable of the main engineering and design disciplines: Automation, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, EC&I and Process and possess practical knowledge of various phases of engineering and construction projects - concept, FEED, detaileddesign, procurement, construction, commissioning.Experience and good understanding of working with the common standard forms of contract (NEC3 and 4, FIDIC, etc.) will help you succeed in this role coupled with ideally a BSc / BEng / MSc or Equivalent in a relevant Engineering discipline.BenefitsThe package includes a car allowance of £5,600 (p.a), Company Pension Scheme - 5% of basic annual salary, Private Medical Insurance (BUPA) for self and spouse, Personal Accident Insurance, 25 days annual holiday plus ability to buy/sell up to 5 days andDental Plan for self & spouse.If youre excited for the above opportunity apply today and one of our consultants will be in touch to discuss next steps!This vacancy is being advertised by Belcan.Required skills
