Youre a Mechatronics Engineer / Automation Engineer with extensive experience in PLC programming and robotics. Youll be based from our factory in Wrexham, but will work on projects across the UK and internationally with our global company to install andcommission our automated production line equipment. Youll use your extensive mechanical, electronic and computer engineering knowledge to create prototypes and conduct testing on the equipmentto ensure functionality, reliability and ensure performance standards are met.Youll be required to travel within the UK and occasionally internationally, staying on site for 4-6 weeks at a time, to install, commission and set up our production line equipment. Youll: · Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in existing systems · Project manage, leading the team to plan, schedule and execute the project within time and cost budgets · Integrate mechanical, electronic and software components into cohesive systemsPERSON SPECIFICATION: Mechatronic Engineer / Automation Engineer - Automation / PrintYoure a degree qualified and experienced Mechatronic Engineer used to working with control systems, sensors, actuators and robotics. You possess a strong knowledge of industrial automation and manufacturing process which means youll slot seamlessly into ourteam.You have extensive experience in programming PLC controls along with plenty of hands on technical / design experience. Youre used to working in a team and are able to manage multiple projects, You will be: ·Educated to a degree level or higher in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a similar field ·Interested in engineering principles and constantly developing your skills ·Experienced with programming languages such as C/C# or Python, but this isnt essentialYou must be happy to stay away from for extended periods of time.
