Job Description

Location: Wellingborough, UKDuration: 4 Weeks (with possible renewal)Start Date: ImmediateWorking Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PMPay Rate: CompetitiveOverview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Commercial Analyst to join our team on a short-term secondment cover basis. This role is critical to support our commercial finance team and ensure the smooth operation of ourfinancial processes and reporting during this period.Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Provide strong administrative support to the commercial finance team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
  • IT Proficiency: Utilise your strong IT skills to manage various software applications essential for daily operations, with a particular emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
  • Deadline Management: Effectively prioritise and manage your workload to meet strict deadlines.
  • Reporting: Create and maintain detailed reports using Excel, including data analysis, financial reporting, and other ad-hoc reporting as required.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the commercial finance team to support their needs and contribute to the teams overall success.
Key Requirements:
  • Administrative Experience: A strong background in administration, with proven experience in a similar role.
  • IT Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Experience with other financial software is an advantage.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a commercial finance environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
  • Experience with financial reporting and analysis.
