Job Description

This is the chance for a Maintenance Engineer to join a trusted global brand that has developed industry leading innovations; designing and producing world-class products to transform safety and reliability for the plumbing and heating industry. As a MaintenanceEngineer, you will be tasked with maximising machinery output and minimising plant downtime through effective preventative maintenance and efficient breakdown response, whilst maintaining a safe and healthy environment and promoting good engineering practice.You will be working from 07:00 to 15:30, Monday to Friday.Key Responsibilities:

  • Swiftly address plant faults and defects to maintain operational order
  • Complete reactive tasks across the site and proactively identify root causes for improvement
  • Adhere to Engineering procedures, including LOTOTO and the Permit System
  • Perform routine PPM on M&E plant according to schedules and asset lists
  • Report critical equipment issues to Engineering management promptly
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with work instructions
Requirements and Skills:
  • Electrical and mechanical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Completion of an advanced apprenticeship in engineering or relevant qualification
  • Knowledge of HSE processes and standards
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Experience with assembly and moulding equipment desired
  • Familiarity with IEE 17th or 18th Edition desired
  • PLC experience desired
  • Air and pneumatics training desired
  • Able to stand for long periods for repairs and PPM, capable of bending, crouching, sitting, or prone work as needed
