Job Description

Why not join us as a Curriculum Co-ordinator - Work Based Learning (Health)This role is full-time, working 37 hours per week.Day to day duties of the role

  • Line manage a team of apprenticeship staff.
  • Work with the Quality team and Head of Department to complete learning walks and work scrutinies of the Level 2-4 Work Based Learning provision across the faculty.
  • Work with the Quality team and Head of Department to identify and deliver CPD requirements for lecturers and how this can be part of the overall CPD plan.
  • Personal Development Curriculum and oversight - Work with the Head of Personal Development and Head of Department to develop an operational approach to apprenticeship Personal Development and embed PD opportunities for apprentices, informed by the widerskills needs within the sector/s.
Required skills and qualifications
  • An appropriate Level 3 Health qualification.
  • Experience of mentoring young people in achieving qualifications.
  • All candidates for teaching posts must possess a recognised teaching qualification or be prepared to gain (with the assistance of the College) a qualification within the first two years of service.
  • Understanding and recent experience of the discreet curriculum area.
