Why not join us as a Vocational Trainer / Assessor in Early YearsThis is a part time, working 29.6 hours per week.This is a maternity cover post, it is expected to come to an end on the return of the substantive post holder.Day to day duties of the role

To provide high quality teaching, learning, assessment and internal moderation across a range of Early Years and Education courses.

To course coordinate programmes of study and be responsible for the success of learners on programme through workplace assessment.

Tutorship of students, giving appropriate support to enable students to achieve their academic and vocational targets.

Interviewing and giving guidance to potential students.

Required skills and qualifications

An NVQ/ VRQ/ Apprenticeship to level 3 or equivalent Early Years Educator and/or Teaching Assistant.

Knowledge and experience of current teaching and learning strategies.

Relevant professional or commercial experience.Competence in IT.
