Job Description

Job Title: Warehouse AssistantLocation: Whitstable, KentSalary: £22,503Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.30pm + Friday 8am - 1.30pmOur Client:Is a global leader in the design, manufacture, and distribution of products for a diverse range of industries.Role Summary:To ensure component parts are picked and kitted on time without delay to the assembly lines.Benefits:

Key responsibilities within your new role would be to:
  • Prepare and complete kitting for the assembly line.
  • Ensuring work areas are clean and tidy
  • Input and read data from the MAPICS database.
  • Transfer goods safely across the site.
  • Oversee the receipt of goods into the stores area.
  • Pick orders and prepare for dispatch team.
  • Work within other areas of the business when required.
  • Complying with the companys Health and Safety policy, and adhere to all relevant legislation.
  • Carry out such other duties that may be reasonably requested.
Experience and skills required for this position:
  • Previous stores experience.
  • Be computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office packages.
  • Have the ability to work both accurately and quickly, whilst working within clearly defined processes
  • Be hardworking with the ability to stay focused.
  • Have high attention to detail.
  • Have the ability to perform repetitive tasks over long periods of time.
  • Have the ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Have good communication skills.
