Job Description

Liverpool John Moores University is working in partnership with Used Kitchen Exchange Ltd to find a Business Transformation Manager. Along with a starting salary of £35,000 per annum, you will also receive a £4,000 personal development and training budget, management and leadership training and a £10,000 retention bonus based on successful project completion.Used Kitchen Exchange is the UK’s leading website for the sale of approved used and ex-display showroom kitchens, offering a safe and informative trading environment, supported by experts, whilst helping to create a more sustainable, ethical world. They now have ambitious expansion goals to diversify into new areas of home goods.As a Business Transformation Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Embedding new management capabilities into a company that has retained a similar approach and structure since its inception.
  • Challenging established company norms to drive and embed innovation and change within the company.
  • Ensuring that key stakeholder requirements are understood and agreed.
  • Working as a catalyst for change by managing the mKTP project in collaboration with the project team to ensure changes are sustained.
  • Working as an advocate for pre-owned goods (e.g. circular economy).
  • Understanding the current market and how Used Kitchen Exchange is a market disrupter.
  • Delivering change management.
  • Facilitating working with external stakeholders to develop the market for pre-owned luxury home goods.
    • We are looking for a Business Transformation Manager who has the following skills and experiences:
  • A postgraduate with a Masters level qualification, ideally with a significant focus on Management i.e. Management Consulting, Sales and Online Marketing and Change Management.
  • Previous commercial experience in a management-related role.
  • Experience in managing the requirements of different stakeholder groups.
  • Highly developed presentation and report-writing skills (spoken and written).
  • An advocate and champion of business models that promote sustainability.
