Job Description

Engine Mechanic - WiganHours - Monday to Friday, flexible on start and finish times. Basic - £32k+ DOERef: OC18131We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technician to join our clients dealership in Wigan. The successful Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles makes and models. This position requires a strongunderstanding of automotive systems and the ability to use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex problems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cars and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.Engine Mechanic Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues
  • Fit and strip engines.
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used
  • Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques
Engine Mechanic Requirements:
  • You will need to have some experience as a technician and/or a relevant and up to date qualification.
  • You will be a person who takes great pride in your work.
  • You will have incredible attention to detail and an eye for spotting things others cannot.
  • You will need a full valid UK driving licence and
  • A stocked toolbox that you can use for work.
