Job Description

SEN Teaching AssistantWiganMonday to FridaySept 2024 - July 2025£425 - £500 per weekWe are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary School SEN teaching assistant to work across KS1 or KS2.The candidate will need one of the following to work in a Primary school as an SEN TAKey Responsibilities:

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • Knowledge of SEN best practices and legal requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Desirable:
  • A postgraduate qualification in special education or a related field.
  • Training in specific SEN strategies and interventions.
  • Experience with assistive technology and adaptive equipment.
