Job Description

Adecco is currently recruiting for a skilled Production Operations Manager to join a leading manufacturing company based in Wirral, known for our commitment to innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction. As a Production Operations Manager you will oversee the production processes, ensuring efficient manufacturing operations, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This role involves strategic planning, managing production schedules,and leading a team to achieve operational excellence.Role: full-time, permanent vacancySalary: 45-55k per annum, depending on experience Location: Wirral Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and control manufacturing processes to ensure products are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Monitor production metrics and performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback, training, and development opportunities for team members.
  • Ensure that all production activities comply with company policies and standards, including health and safety regulations.
  • Investigate and resolve production issues, implementing preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and waste reduction, implementing manufacturing principles where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and achieve operational excellence.
  • Develop and manage production budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Maintain inventory levels, managing supply chain logistics to support uninterrupted production flow.
Experience & skills:
  • Proven experience as an Operations Production Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of production management principles
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of driving performance improvements.
  • Solid knowledge of quality control standards and health and safety regulations.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams.
