Job Description

Science Graduate Teaching AssistantAre you a recent science graduate looking for a role in a ‘Good’ school in which you can use your knowledge of scientific concepts to improve the achievement levels of GCSE science studentsCould you use your knowledge and skills to provide high-quality 1-2-1 and small group interventions to improve science grades at GCSE*** Science Graduate Teaching Assistant*** Wolverhampton*** £85- £95 per day*** September 2024- July 2025*** Providing support to GCSE Science students to raise grades and improve attainment levels.*** ‘Good’ secondary school.Requirements:

  • At least a 2:1 bachelor’s degree in a science-related field.
  • A passion for the education of secondary school students.
  • Strong knowledge of scientific concepts.
  • A clear, confident communication style.
  • Previous experience of working in close collaboration with students, or in a school setting, is beneficial but not mandatory.
The RoleAs a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work in close collaboration with GCSE Science students to support them with their understanding of scientific concepts and improve their grades as they approach their examinations. You will assess students’classwork and provide constructive feedback to raise attainment levels and will actively partake in staff meetings and parents’ evenings.The SchoolThis school, deemed ‘Good’ by Ofsted, is located in north Wolverhampton.
